Join us this Sunday for a sunny 17C session through some of Calgary's best breweries in the Barley Belt (Manchester Industrial Zone). We'll start at Banded Peak Brewing, head to Born Brewing (formerly Born Colorado) and finish on Cabin's brand new beautiful patio with a pint and kiwi meat pie in hand.

Join us for a beer, or three, I'll update the page as we move along and no need to stay for the entire afternoon. Come get some sun, meet some new people and discover some tasty new suds.

The Calgary International Beerfest, one of Canada's longest running and largest Beerfests returns to the BMO centre for what promises to be the best one yet with 700+ beers and 200+ breweries.

This year the Calgary Craft Beer Group is going to shake things up a bit, as it's quite difficult to keep a large group together during the busy event we're going to incorporate a concept we planned to try one our Barley Belt Crawl last year which was unfortunately cancelled due to Covid.

After meeting up at 12:30 were going to split up into groups of 5-6 with a Scavenger hunt that will have you answering beer questions and seeking out specific beers to bring a win for your 'team'. Plenty of prizes and the coveted 2022 Beerfest crown will be up for grabs as well.

More details will be available shortly, but this concept will have you trying new things, learning more about beer and having a heck of a lot of fun while doing it.

Annex Ales is turning 5 years old this May 15th and we're going to celebrate with them!

Not only is it their birthday but its the night after the Canadian Brewing Awards that are being hosted here in Calgary for the first time ever, Annex is combining both events to host a fantastic occasion with a brewer's brunch, a variety of guest taps and special collaboration birthday beers.

We'll meet up at the start of the event to enjoy the brunch and a few cheeky morning beers before it gets bonkers busy.

This event is limited to 15 attendees so please keep your RSVP up to date. No guests at this time, but I will open it up if need be.

Monthly beer and wings is back this May with a visit to the Bitter Sisters Brewpub which opened in Feb 2020, we never had a chance to visit before the pandemic hit, so definitely need to swing by for their half priced wings on Wednesday nights and their on-premise brewed beers.

We're back in the brewery Saturday May 21st for an exclusive Calgary Craft Beer Club Tour and Tasting at New Level Brewing Company! We'll chat with one of their owners about what makes New Level unique, their selection of beers and the processes they use to make heavy metal influenced brews.

This event is limited to 25 people so please keep your RSVP up to date. We will limit the event to only 1 guest, but will open it up to more if need be.

The tour and tasting is $15 per person and includes a flight of their beers!
